In most cases, when creating stitches, since the actual filling needle length defined by the user may not exactly match the needle length that has been defined in the properties dialog box, when reaching the last stitch of a certain row of stitches, the In most cases, the needle length is less than the defined needle length. At this time, the computer will automatically fill in according to the excess length. However, sometimes the excess length is too short, and some are even smaller than the sum of the diameters of the two embroidery threads. If the thread is broken, it must be limited by the minimum stitch length. If the last stitch is less than this limit, the computer will automatically add it to the previous stitch to increase the previous line segment.
Take the flat needle as an example: the length of the flat needle is 2.5 mm by default, that is, the needle point needs to be lowered every 2.5 mm. If the length of the last section is only 2.6 mm, then the last section is 2.5 mm and only 0.1 mm is left. This is smaller than the diameter of the two embroidery threads, and it is easy to break the needle and thread, so it is necessary to set "short stitch" (minimum stitch length) Other → short stitch, the default is 0.3 mm, if it is less than 0.3 mm , it will be automatically added to the previous line segment, where the length of the last line segment becomes 2.6 mm instead of 0.1 mm.
