The most basic thing about computerized embroidery machines is maintenance.
Dust removal and refueling are the most basic and most important. Especially in summer, pay more attention to the heat dissipation of the X and Y drive boxes. For the Tajima machine, it should be noted that the cables behind the drive box should be tied to both sides, leaving a large space for ventilation. If the cooling fan is broken, it must be replaced immediately and the machine should be dusted regularly. The shuttle bed should be sprayed with white oil or anti-rust oil regularly. Sometimes the shuttle bed is very loud when the machine is turned halfway, which is caused by the lack of oil in the shuttle bed.
The needle bar box, the needle bar drive center shaft, and the flying saucer assembly are the key places for refueling. Some thicker oil can be added to these places. If the needle bar box is less oiled, the lower hole of the presser foot and the needle bar will wear out more quickly. In severe cases, the hole of the machine head base will wear out. Less oil is added to the drive middle shaft, which will wear the steel sleeve and the middle shaft in the middle of the drive rubber.
When worn out, the drive rubber will shake, the needle bar will shift, and there will be more chances for thread breakage. In more serious cases, the drive block and the bottom bracket are stuck, and the machine cannot be turned on. After that, the big and small connecting rods and the refueling between the silver arms will only accelerate the wear and cause loosening.
What is left is the flying saucer assembly. There is a lubrication hole on this one. Because there is a needle bearing inside, the needle will loosen and wear if no lubrication is added. It is recommended to add high-temperature bearing grease during overhaul at this place, so that it will not burn out.
The shuttle bed is generally adjusted and polished with sandpaper. X, Y-axis limit switch is not set properly, otherwise it will hit the frame and accelerate the damage of the small bearing. This is the basic maintenance of machinery.
Attention should be paid to dust prevention in the circuit. The place where the drive box has a fan is dusty. Use a blower to clean the inside regularly, and pay attention to drying. Otherwise, the thin copper and through holes on the circuit board will corrode. This is difficult to check.
Do not adjust the thermal relay on the motor casually. If someone burns the motor coil, it is estimated that this is a failure or disorder. Normally, the motor coil will hardly burn out if it is protected.
The floppy drive should be protected from dust. Do not eject the floppy disk when the indicator light is on. If you have a tape recorder, you should pay attention to plug and unplug the data cable when shutting down, otherwise the probability of burning the tape recorder is very high.
